Good afternoon everyone!
I know that you have home group this week, so I wanted to write and say Hi! I am having a good time here. It's hard being away from everyone and being in new place with new people, but God is really showing me what he has in store for my team in Halabj, Iraq and I am pretty excited about it!
The Kurds are really great people. My host family is absolutely wonderful and the food is great!
You should all sign up!

Oh sure rub it in that I didn't sign up! I am happy to hear that you are doing well and it is great to know that God is speaking to you thru this experience. If there are any prayer requests that you have I can take them to group on Wednesday night. I check the Blog just about everyday. If you get a chance maybe drop a comment about one or two things that are "different" or "unique" that you either like very much or need time to get adjusted to. I think it will help people grasp a little more easy the situation you are in and give them a basis to compare against thier own lives.
